Update: Ideas, Healing and Reset.
Hello, friends! Hope all is well. As usual, I have been very busy trying to stay afloat with networking, working full-time, being a mom, and maintaining a positive outlook. Writing and crocheting. I've also been dealing with some self development. That is coming along just fine. Anyway, let's get into what's been going on.
Website link down
My website link will be down for a little bit. I had to make some tough choices. However, fortunately, I am still able to post my link on my other social media platforms.
Don't worry. I'll be back up soon.
Manifest Mindset
I was on Threads and came across something that has done me some good. I hope it will do y'all some good also. I typed it up and made it pretty in Canva. And, here it is:
I printed this out in Word form and I use it to write down all the things I want to manifest. I do it and look over it with intention. You don't have to do it for seven days. I started this back in March and I have made it a mission to continue to do it for the rest of my days. I also believe manifestation comes with doing the work. Manifesting isn't a magic spell or a quick fix. It may come quickly. It may come when it's time. Just like all things, what you put in is what you get out.
My Linktree
I have the option to start a store on my Linktree or add links to a store. I added links to the items I'm selling on my store. Like my sweaters. My linktree link is there at the bottom. Take a look and give me some constructive feedback on what can change and what can stay the same
Crochet and the business
I was going to try to steer away from the topic of crocheting, but here we are. What kept me from trying a more timely blog was that my crochet spark had been set ablaze. Now, I may not be as inventive as I'm trying to be with this, but I think I'm doing pretty great. When I wear my sweaters in public, I get a lot of compliments. I hand out business cards and then it stops. So, what I had planned for the crochet side is not exactly working yet. But, it soon will. I have been working on making it a separate business from A.J. Jones. I have come up with a name. I'm going to just create the business first before I say anything else about it.
In the meantime, I'll keep posting pics of the items I've crocheted.
Amazon and my print books
Since I didn't go through Amazon the publish my book, Amazon has decided to sell it on their other website, abe.com. My book is not on Amazon. I have removed the links for them from all my sites. You can look up my book on Amazon, but it will send you to abe.com. The prices are definitely higher on that site. I've already explained reasons as to why I priced my books the way I did. To keep it short, one, a little vanity. My birthday is the 21st. And, two, royalties.
New release
And, now for the grand finale! Threading of Nightshade is now out and available.
Thanks for taking the time to read my blogs. Time to flutter off to the next adventure. Until next time, friends...
