Busy Butterfly

I have been hearing this term floating around. The Great Resignation. I'm all for it. I've quit one of my jobs and kept the one that pays more with benefits. But, I'm ready to join The Great Resignation.

I've been busy busy trying to find other legit streams of income. I believe in having multiple streams of income, but at the moment working two jobs ain't it.

I'll be honest, I never thought a nine to five was my thing. But, life and me being hard headed, had other plans. Everything might not work, but all I can say is at least I tried.

I work remotely at the moment. When I have a little down time, I'm on the hunt. One stream I found was making low or no content books. What is that, you ask? Low or no content books are like journals, sketchbooks, recipe books, word puzzles etc. Thanks to a site called Bookbolt, you can do it too.

I was nervous to try it out. After finally releasing the adventurous side of me, I said why not. I created one journal and three sketchbooks. Before I create anything else, I wanted to see how it goes. The only thing that made me nervous about Bookbolt is that I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who knows about this. What can I do to make my books stand out? You never know until you try. In my case, I have a little graphic design experience. I consider myself a creative person. But, if you decide to do this you don't need graphic design experience. That's the cool thing about it.

My next stream is Kindle Vella. Once again, I let my nerves get the best of me and I waited months to try it out. I uploaded one chapter Monday and uploaded three more chapters today. So, how it works is kind a like Wattpad, but after the third chapter (episode) you have to pay tokens to read the other episodes. The amount of tokens you pay is determined by the first two numbers of the work count. My fourth chapter is two thousand four hundred and some. So it would cost twenty four tokens. Those tokens determine how much I earn. And, I can always edit anything if I need to. I'm going to keep The Nightshade Series on Wattpad until I see how this Kindle Vella works. Even though I like Wattpad, I need my coins lol.

From the emails I've gotten from Amazon KDP, it should take three days for everything to be fully available. I'll be making changes to the sketchbooks and the journal. It'll take longer for them.

As a side note, it was mentioned to me that at the end of my YouTube videos I should mention to like, subscribe, and share. To get notifications, click the bell and click all. YouTube was just a way to share my book trailers and my GarageBand creations. Just for fun and bringing attention to my writing. I have found that it could be another stream of income. If I still decide to upload instrumentals and book trailers. So, I'll leave my link to Coco's Jukebox at the end.

Thank you all for reading. Have a great day.
