February 2024 is the end of Kindle Vella. I honestly don’t think they gave it much of a chance. I enjoyed it and I’m pretty sure other writers did too. Especially the very popular ones.
With my writing, I’ve researched and came to the realization that maybe I should just try something different. I know how to create my own book covers. That’s saving money. I’ll admit I need to learn to advertise a heck of a lot more. Editing is still a process. I think I’m getting better at it.
So, after more searching and researching I’ve come across Fulton books. It’s not one of those publishers that give you an advance. They will help with editing, covers, marketing, etc. They sell your book on Barnes & Noble, Apple, Amazon and so on. I can see my book in print and e-book form.
BBB (Better Business Bureau) they have an almost 5 star rating. Of course, I research the complaints. Some authors didn’t have the best experience. I’m praying that won’t be me.
I finally decided to break Lion Blood up into a series of novellas. I also made a lot of changes. I need all your positive vibes, friends! I really feel like this is going to be it.
On the crochet side, I’m still making sweaters. Etsy is down right now, but if anyone is interested in commissioning me to create an original design, I’m here.
