Hey, friends! So, about two weeks ago something deep in my spirit said make a sweater. I said ok. I researched everything I could on how to make a sweater for beginners. This is what I came up with...

This is the rough draft. Yes, I wore it out and got a lot of compliments. What really shocked me is that there are two people who ask me to make one for them. I'm not going to turn down this coin so I said yes.
It took two weeks to make mine. But that's because I was starting out. Let's see how long it'll take me to make one for the customers.
I tweaked the pattern a little just for aesthetic reasons. There's a certain stitch that I really like and I thought it looked good.
The yarn I used (Caron 1lb) made the sweater feel thick. Even with the spaces, it's really warm. I'm going to increase the border and add three big buttons. I will post the finished version hopefully this weekend.
Now, after all this, I want to make sweaters of all kind. Especially the ones I don't have to sew.
Til next time...
